Week Eighteen

Monday, September 21: 6 miles (2 mile warm-up in 15 minutes, 3x1 mile repeats at 6:08 pace (felt very controlled, saving energy for the meet tomorrow), 1 mile cool-down in 8 minutes)
Tuesday, September 22: 9 miles (AM: Easy 2 mile shakeout run in 16 minutes, PM: 2 mile warm-up, 3.1 mile race in 17:13, 2 mile cool-down in 16 minutes)
Wednesday, September 23: 6 miles (6 miles in about 47 minutes)
Thursday, September 24: 10 miles in 70 minutes (did 6 x 30 second up-tempos in the last 15 minutes)
Friday, September 25: 6 miles in 47 minutes
Saturday, September 26: The Carlisle Meet of Champions (8.5 miles: Early AM: 1.5 miles in 12 minutes to wake up the muscles, Later AM: 2 mile warmup in 15 minutes, 3.1 mile race in 17:01 minutes (11 second PR, I'll break 17 next week), 2 mile cooldown in 16 minutes)
Sunday, September 27: 3 miles in 25 minutes (easy shakeout run)
