Monday, August 31: 7 miles in 50 minutes
Tuesday, September 1: 10 miles (2 mile warm-up in fifteen minutes, 10 x 1 minute surges up a large hill with 2 minutes recovery (30 minutes), 5 mile tempo-run in about 33 minutes, 1 mile cool-down in 8 minutes)
Wednesday, September 2: 5 miles in 37 minutes
Thursday, September 3: 9 miles (2.5 mile warm-up in 18 minutes, 4 x 1 mile tempos through hills (5:47, 5:40, 5:40, 5:43) with 3 minutes recovery between each, 2.5 mile cool-down in 20 minutes)
Friday, September 4: 6 miles in about 45 minutes
Saturday, September 5: 12.3 miles in 92 minutes
